Boston Media Theory is a series of half hour interviews with academics, researchers and innovators from Boston who work in universities, institutes, private firms, not-for-profits and public organizations. They share a commitment to media and communication and to the burgeoning area of media theory. BMT casts a net over the burgeoning contemporary research that is a hallmark of Boston. The city’s history of ideas around media and communication continue to make a contribution to knowledge production, innovation and criticism. The interviews explore ideas in a variety of domains and how they influence social and economic life and the culture of Newton, Boston and beyond.
