August Hours & Guidelines

Due to a recent spike in COVID-19 cases, both in Massachusetts and throughout the United States, NewTV has made changes to our hours and guidelines for the month of August.

NewTV will NOT be open to members or to the public from 9:00AM - 5:00PM on weekdays. Members may make appointments for equipment pick-up/drop-off, editing, and studio time from 5:00PM-8:00PM, Monday through Thursday, and from 10:00AM-4:00PM on Saturdays. Members must agree to follow NewTV's rules and protocols. Producers and crew will be asked to fill out a form before they enter NewTV. 

Only 1 guest is allowed for each production, and only three crew members may be in the control room at one time. Please only bring essential crew with you. Masks must be worn at all times in common and open areas, regardless of vaccination status. Masks are optional while in edit suites. Two people may work in an edit suite together if they are a part of the same family/household. While they are on-camera, the host and guest may remove their masks, but should remain at least six feet apart while filming.

The open edit area will be unavailable during the month of August.

Any members who enter the facility must be wearing a face mask and sanitize their hands when they enter. There are masks and hand sanitizer available in the vestibule upon entering NewTV. If you have any symptoms or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 in the past two weeks, please do not come to NewTV. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who does not adhere to these rules.
