NewTV offers a diverse range of classes and workshops that equip our members with the latest media production techniques and skills.
UPCOMING MEMBER CLASSES
Our media training classes provide members with an immersive, hands-on experience with our top-notch production facilities and equipment. All classes are free with your NewTV Membership, unless stated otherwise. Our staff and other seasoned professionals teach industry leading production and post-production techniques, including camera operation, switching, light board / sound board operation, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition, and more!

NewTV Member Orientation.

Welcome to the heart of community creativity! NewTV’s orientation is designed for new members eager to explore and utilize the diverse resources available at Newton’s media center. This introductory course provides a comprehensive overview of the facilities, equipment, and collaborative opportunities within our community media center.
Member Orientation is a prerequisite for ALL other NewTV member classes.

Elements.

Learn how to produce a program from NewTV’s state of the art control room and studio. This comprehensive class covers the basics of lighting, cameras, and control room equipment to produce your own show at NewTV or volunteer on a production. This class is a prerequisite for all studio classes.
Studio Elements is a prerequisite for all other studio-based classes.

Introduction to Adobe After Effects.

This beginner-friendly course offers a hands-on introduction to motion design and visual effects using Adobe After Effects. You'll learn how to animate graphics, text, and illustrations while exploring the fundamentals of animation.

Editing Basics with Adobe Premiere.
