Election Info 2020

If you’re planning on voting on Election Day, November 3rd, polls will be open from 7am until 8pm. Make sure to check the city’s website for your polling location because it may have moved due to COVID19. If you want to vote early in person, you can do so at the Newton Free Library until Friday, October 30. Voting is open 8:30am until 5pm each day. And if you’re voting by mail, the deadline has passed to request a ballot. But if you have mail in ballet, you can either drop it off in the dropbox at City Hall or you can mail it in but it must be postmarked by November 3 and received by 5pm on November 6th. On the Ballot are the races for: President, Senator in Congress, Representative in Congress, Governor’s Council, Senator in General Court, Representative in General Court, and Registrar of Probate. There are also 3 or 4 questions depending on your precinct.
