Reopening Rollback: Phase 3, Step 1

Governor Baker announced on Tuesday that the state is rolling back the state’s reopening to Phase 3 Step 1 in the process. The rollback will start on Sunday, December 13. Here are the changes: Outdoor gatherings at event venues are limited to 50 people. Hosts of outdoor gatherings greater than 25 people are required to notify their local board of health. Indoor theaters and performance venues are closed. Outdoor theaters and performance venues are limited to 25 percent and no more than 50 people. Capacity has been reduced from 50 percent to 40 percent for: Arcades/Indoor and Outdoor recreational areas Driving and Flight Schools Gyms/Health Clubs Libraries Museums Retail Offices Places of Worship Common areas at Lodging locations Golf Facilities Movie Theaters can have a maximum of 50 people per theater. Other changes include Restaurants and Venues. Patrons must wear a mask at all times except while eating and drinking No more than 6 people to a table A 90 minute dining time limit No seating at Food Courts And customers are encouraged to dine only with members of the same household In the office, employees must wear masks except alone in their own area, close or limit the use of break rooms, and patrons at gyms must wear masks at all times. The Governor encourages employers to offer teleworking to their employees when possible.
