March 16 was Newton's Special Election in order to to fill two vacancies on the City Council: Councilor at Large for Ward 1 and Councilor at Large for Ward 2. John Oliver and Tarik Lucas were elected to City Council as Councilor at Large for Ward 1 and Councilor at Large for Ward 2, respectively. View the City's Unofficial Vote Count.
