EveryBody Signs is an American Sign Language Program supported by the Newton Arts Council. Since the beginning of the pandemic, they have been running a weekly "Books for Breakfast" series on Zoom. Each week, teacher Steve Weiner (Deaf Magician, teacher, and Newton Resident) masterfully reads a story for young children. These presentations are accessible to both hearing and Deaf children, and they would like to offer them to the Newton community!

Join Newton Community Farm staff for interesting and informative classes on how to plant and maintain a successful garden and make healthy, nutritious food. From what to plant where and when, weeding and watering, promoting healthy soil, harvest techniques, and how to put your garden to rest for the winter, our instructors demonstrate step-by-step directions from the Farm in our gardening classes. Take what you've grown or the seasonal produce you have purchased and follow our cooking shows to learn how to prepare a variety of fresh vegetables for healthy eating or preservation.

NCF is the last working farm in Newton, and our mission is to teach and model sustainable agricultural and environmental practices on the historic Angino Farm. We offer CSA programs, produce for sale at our onsite farm stand and at the Newton Farmers' Market, and produce donations. We have environmental education classes for children and adults and we also offer events such as our annual spring seedling sale. Check out these programs and visit www.newtoncommunityfarm.org to learn more.

Welcome to NewCity TV, where the journey of transformation begins.

We are a community of people who are passionate about justice, equality, and allyship. And, we deeply value local mission, community engagement, and doing good. Our LoveThe617 ministry is designed to do just that…love this beautifully-diverse community within the 95 corridor - the 617 - in both tangible ways and bold efforts. These ideals are all mutually-shared values between NewCity Church and the residents of Newton. We try to live this out through our broadcast.

NewCity Church is a community of transformed, faith-filled individuals and families who seek justice, live authentically, embrace the community, love each other, and introduce others to a transformational, life-changing experience with God.
