Museum Open House - Paul Manship Ancient Made Modern

Jay talks with Erin Monroe, PhD. Erin is the Robert H. Schutz, Jr. Associate Curator of American Art at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art located in Hartford, Connecticut. She’s here today to inform us about the outstanding exhibition entitled Paul Manship: Ancient Made Modern, which is currently on display through July 3.During the program, we’ll be finding out why and how the exhibition came about, we’ll go on a behind-the-scenes tour and, in the process, come to better understand and appreciate the renowned Mr. Manship as a person, a sculptor, and the tremendous impact he had on the field of sculpture in the early twentieth century.
