IMPORTANT UPDATE: Due to a recent spike in COVID-19 cases, both in Massachusetts and throughout the United States, NewTV has decided to continue its limited hours and special guidelines into the month of September. Please click here for more details about our September procedures for visiting NewTV. The health and safety of our staff, our members, and the entire Newton community remains our number one priority.

Museum Open House - Ribbit the Exhibit

Jay talks with highly accomplished sculptor Andy Cobb from Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. Andy is particularly well known for his whimsical copper sculptures of animals, most notably his extremely engaging and amusing collection of frogs. Twenty-three of these large-scale fanciful frogs comprise the Ribbit the Exhibit exhibition which is now being displayed throughout The Gardens At Elm Bank located in Wellesley. During the program, we’ll be learning why and how the Ribbit the Exhibit came about, we’ll go on a behind-the-scenes tour and, in the process, come to better understand and appreciate Andy’s exceptional craftsmanship, his wonderful sense of humor, and what those of you watching and others can look forward to seeing at The Gardens At Elm Bank from now until September 7.
