Museum Open House - Yachad New England: Art Appreciation

Jay talks with Liz Offen, Rebecca Gilbert, Jonathan Spiller, and Katherine Wiley—all of whom are associated with Yachad New England, which is part of an international organization dedicated to addressing the needs of all individuals with disabilities and including them in the Jewish community.During the program, we’ll be finding out about the history and mission of Yachad, we’ll hear about the wide range of opportunities it provides participants--spending much of our time learning about the art appreciation program. Jonathan and Katherine will share some of their experiences and artwork, and, in the process, we’ll come to better understand and appreciate Yachad’s overall mission and the extremely positive impact it’s had on both the participant, their families, and communities.
