Museum Open House - Shelburne Museum: New England Now: People

Jay talks withTom Denenberg, PhD and Carolyn Bauer from the Shelburne Museum located in Shelburne, Vermont. Tom is the Director of the museum and Carolyn serves as Associate Curator. During the program, we’ll be finding out about the history and mission of the Shelburne Museum and the wide-range of buildings,collections, exhibitions, programs, and events that available today. To better understand and appreciate the museum’s offerings and goals, we’ll be spending much of our time hearing about the current exhibition entitled New England Now: People, the second exhibition in a new biennial series featuring regional contemporary artists. Let’s start by meeting our guests and then learning all about the Shelburne Museum and the New England Now: People exhibition, which is on display until October 17.
