Museum Open House - The 2021 DMZ Art and Peace Platform

Jay talks with Yeon Shim Chung, PhD. Dr. Chung is a highly accomplished art historian who is a professor at Hongik University located in Seoul, South Korea. Dr. Chung also served as the artistic project director of the fascinating exhibition entitled The 2021 DMZ Art and Peace Platform. This groundbreaking presentation featured the work of 32 artists from South Korea and beyond whose work was displayed in five locations near the Korean Demilitarized Zone. During the program, we’ll be finding out why and how the 2021 DMZ Art and Peace Platform came about, we’ll go on a behind-the-scenes tour and, in the process, come to better understand and appreciate the mission of this historic endeavor and the wide-range of outstanding artists who contributed to this remarkable undertaking.
