Museum Open House - Crossroads: Change in Rural America

Jay talks with Brian Boyles, Jen Atwood, and Maureen Gillis. Brian is the Executive Director of Mass Humanities, Jen serves as the Program Officer, and Maureen is the Director of Development for the Hull Lifesaving Museum. They'll all here today to inform us about an exciting collaboration between Mass Humanities, the Hull Lifesaving Museum, and the Smithsonian’s Museum on Main Street program—the result of these efforts being the current exhibition at the Hull Lifesaving Museum entitled Crossroads: Change in Rural America. During the program, we'll be learning why and how the collaboration came about, we'll go on a behind-the-scenes tour of the exhibition, and, in the process, come to better understand and appreciate Mass Humanities, the Smithsonian’s Museum on Main Street program, and the Hull Lifesaving Museum.
