Museum Open House - Beneski Museum of Natural History

Jay talks with Alfred (Fred) Venne. Fred serves as the Education Curator at the Beneski Museum of Natural History, which is located on the campus of Amherst College. The museum contains three floors of exhibits with over 1,700 specimens on display. It is home to the world's largest collection of dinosaur tracks. During the program, we'll be finding out about the history and mission of the museum, we'll go on a behind-the-scenes tour, and, in the process, we'll come to better understand and appreciate the museum’s extensive collections, various exhibits, education programs, and other opportunities for the Amherst College community and the general public.
